Physiotherapist Male / Female (India-Kerala)

Location: India-Kerala, Thrissur

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated physiotherapist, to provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment for service users with musculoskeletal, pediatrics and CVA patients. Interventions will be delivered both on a one to one basis and in group sessions.

The successful candidate will need to have an understanding of aged people’s conditions and hold an appropriate professional qualification. You will manage a caseload, working under the supervision of a Senior Physiotherapist and provide support to staff and students.

Domain	Duties/Responsibilities
Clinical	To undertake Physiotherapy assessments for a designated caseload To work with service users to identify Physiotherapy goals as part of overall care plan, using evidence-based specialist mental health and physiotherapy assessment tools, for example, the Elderly Mobility Score and the BERG balance score To plan and implement individual and/or group interventions in collaboration with the service user using graded activity to achieve therapeutic goals To analyse, evaluate and modify treatment in order to measure progress and assure effectiveness of the intervention
Leadership, Supervision and Appraisal	To review and reflect on your own practice and performance through effective use of professional and operational supervision and appraisal To undertake the supervision of support staff as delegated by senior member of staff
Training Staff and Students	To participate in the induction, training, and education of students and other staff in this setting To participate in the professional development programme and competency framework
Service Development and Delivery	To participate in the planning, evaluation and audit of practice, clinical pathways and protocols within your area To participate in the delivery and evaluation of physiotherapy service
Professional Development	To use a personal development plan to apply acquired skills and knowledge in professional practice To utilise the personal development plan process, to update skills required for competency framework To demonstrate ongoing personal development through participation in internal and external development opportunities. Record learning outcomes in a portfolio utilising ring-fenced CPD time (half day a month) as per Indian Association of Physiotherapy standards.
